Gazzetea foodies and fun-seekers! Did you miss out on the gastronomic extravaganza at the first-ever Tanzania Food Carnival? Well, buckle up because we are here to spill the delicious deets!
On October 7th, Dar Es Salaam’s, Warehouse transformed into a food lover’s paradise. Thanks to the masterminds at EVENT MASTERS, this event was a culinary fiesta like no other, and guess what? Tickets were a steal at just 10,000 TSH pre-event and 15, 000 TSH at the entrance.
The real star of the event was none other than – the food. Our taste buds were in for a world tour because this carnival brought global delicacies right to our palate. From Mishkaki to Turkish delight, and local favourites like Chips-kuku and Chips-mayai, every bite was its own dance of flavours. Local legends like Mamboz Grill, Holy Smokes, and Chef Carlito’s Kitchen showcased their culinary magic and the smell of each and every corner of the venue had us drooling.
While the food was fooding the vibe was also vibing. Imagine strolling around, munching on treats, while the little ones enjoyed the play area. And the rest of us enjoyed the games, giveaways, and even the concert! This Crave Carnival knew how to keep everyone entertained.
It was a family-friendly affair! A treat for the littlest foodies to the adults looking for a good time. Crave Carnival had it all – from tantalising treats to fantastic entertainment, and even a sip or two for the grown-ups, serving drinks a little stronger than soda, if you know what we mean.
As the night rolled in, the carnival went out with a bang – blazing fireworks that laced the skies of Dar Es Salaam with vibrant pops colour.
